It was an absolute JOY to paint this dresser. My inner artist was once again awakened and painting each flower, each detail, was like how yoga people describe going to yoga. Zen. A happy place. Calming. Inspired by hydrangeas and lilacs, this dresser is one of my favorites!

I removed all of the knobs, sanded, primed, then painted...

I did a quick sketch to roughly map an idea of where I wanted the branches and flowers to go. I prefer seeing where the painting takes me, so with the basic branches painted on, I added the flowers. Each bunch is comprised of tiny flowers, overlapped to create depth, and in a variety of sizes and variations, because nature isn't perfect!
