This little nightstand is for one of my oldest friends who’s about to have her first child- a little girl. The nursery is almost complete, except mom has no place by the rocking chair to put her things.

The pictures kind of do the talking on this one. This beat up nightstand went through a major transformation. I began by cleaning it up, sanding it down, and painting it yellow with latex paint. Once the paint had dried, I went over it with two coats of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Paris Gray. When I distressed it, little bits of yellow came peeking through. A flower knob finishes it off and matches the knobs throughout the nursery.
