Meg, before.
Meet Meg! I forgot to take a proper before picture- I was so excited to get started! The piece was clearly well built, but also very dark, so I chose Annie Sloan's chalk paint in Paloma. The beautiful lavender taupe brightened and softened the dresser. I used CLR to clean up years of build up on the hardware, which revealed a lovely rosy bronze finish. I distressed the edges to highlight it's curves and details. I finished with a vintage newspaper inspired liner in the drawers and clear wax over the entire surface.
Pulls, before.
After a round of CLR- look at the beautiful rosy color underneath!
On left- some finished, on the right- still to go!
Here she is all done!
